Mulberry spring/summer 2012
MULBERRY has teamed up with the British Fashion Council’s Colleges Council to launch a competition for final year fashion students. Entrants are asked to create a capsule collection, incorporating leather and outerwear, based on their idea of what it means to be British. In return, the brand will reward the winner with £2,000 to support their design development.
Students must apply by January 18 and will then be shortlisted for an interview. BFC ceo Caroline Rush explained why the competition is so invaluable to young designers.
